The Grand View Beach Hotel is actually up on the hill overlooking the sea. There isn't much of a beach below, either. You can walk up the coast, though, to a nice beach for swimming.
The hotel is about 10 minutes out of Kingstown by taxi, just past the airport. It's situated out and the end of a little peninsula and is very quiet.
