Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon National Park is home to some of the strangest landscape we've ever seen.

Our first stop was Fairyland Canyon. The spires and hoodoos are caused by wind and water erosion of the softer sandstone underneath a limestone cap. o2t.jpg (5093 bytes)o13t.jpg (4543 bytes)
Later in the afternoon we went to the Bryce Ampitheater. After dinner, we returned to watch the sun set from Sunset Pt. As the sun set, the rocks took on many different shades of pink. o28t.jpg (4051 bytes)o26t.jpg (4017 bytes)
