The Trip Home
The big gang has partially split up. Steve will be going home with his mom. The Paul-Joneses will take the scenic route through Yellowstone home. After leaving Fort Robertson at 10:30, we head for Yellowstone. Lunch is at a Perkins in Casper, Wyoming. Next stop, Jackson, Wyoming. A tourist town south of Grand Teton national park it had many campgrounds. We had dinner and went to sleep. Day 2. Our route shale be through Grand Teton and into Yellowstone. Many stops for pictures along the way only allow us to get to Gardner, Montana. Dinner and a campground are what we find here. Day 3 shall be one of our long travel days. The hope is to reach Coulee City. By the time we reach The Idaho/Montana border the sun is setting. We have dinner in Cour'de lane. We make contact with Steve and Joyce. After a very long day we arrive in Coulee city just before midnight. Day 4. Steve tells us he will stay with his mom one more day and take her to Mike and Char's. This day is fairly simple. By 5 we are in our driveway watching TV. The whole trip is over.
